[verse]
1:34
They felled lush trees, killed eggs and young, uprooted and extracted the timber to sell. The rulers dined with the plunderers; the profits were divided among merchants and destroyers of vegetation with their pipe dreams. Drought, hunger, and misery invade the plains. The future is uncertain and will only ever be legend. The collateral effects of war also brought genocide and holocaust.
1:34
Oh, oh, oh, how horrible! Oh, oh, oh, the chimpanzee brothers! They have no den and have fallen ill... What a terrible civilization without the law of love! Oh, oh, oh, la, la, la, la, la!
1:46
Extensive highways are built and pastures are planted that poison orchards; everything continues on the path to desertification. If we do not stop the deforestation, the lungs of the planet will disappear and the Amazon will cease to exist. We need leaders who love existence and protect life. Let us seek those who can be the true "Fathers of the Nation." Together, let us heal the wounds and recover animals, plants, and a new reality.
2:03
Oh, oh, oh, how horrible! Oh, oh, oh, the chimpanzee brothers! They have no den and have fallen ill... What a terrible civilization without the law of love! Oh, oh, oh, la, la, la, la, la!
2:37
The birds are sick, dead, or missing; the giant leaves no longer cross the rivers. The vegetation has dwindled, and the jungle sheds tears in its farewell. The blackbirds mourn their dead, and the lilies moan, lamenting their departure. Once there were lilies and orchids; now, only sad parrots, parakeets, and macaws remain. Let us reforest the jungle and go together to the Amazon to help plant life.

Oh, oh, oh, how horrible! Oh, oh, oh, the chimpanzee brothers! They have no shelter and they have fallen ill... What a terrible civilization without the law of love! Oh, oh, oh, la, la, la, la, la!
