[verse]
Angels clash in fire‑lit skies, steel‑wings scream as lightning cries,
Men hear death upon the wind, judgment’s line the heavens pinned.
A dragonfly landed on my hand, whispering, “They’ll use a tenant‑at‑will ruse, deny your contract for deed.”
Lionel, king of Pool Pond, warned: “Winds shift; they’re coming for your house—after the storm I won’t return.”
A sheriff pounded the door: “Leave in five minutes or you’ll be removed.”
“I’m a contract‑for‑deed holder, not a tenant—never served, never heard.”
Fraud on the courts, I cried silently.
We hold a contract for deed, not a lease.
Law enforcement denied my justice—no dispatcher, no deputy, no notice.
They promised everything would be locked and safe—it never was.
Our house stood open all night, intruders slipped through.
Already a victim of stolen work, my home and network were secured—until this lack of service, fraud ripped our world apart.
Original art photographed and stored on a stranger’s phone, who refused to delete years of my work.
The shed was kicked in, the sanctuary fence torn, a burglary in progress—
I leapt to shield my child, yet sheriff and police refused my report.
Officials laughed, hung up, denied filing.
ahhh‑hmmm‑hmmm‑ahh
Who do you cry out to when the world turns untrue?
They took our home, but the creatures rose,
Giving voice to all our woes.
Take up your cross, trust in His hand—
Truth will shine through all the land.
Months of prayer in the dark, “How can we fight alone?”
Lord, save my husband from cancer, spare his breath—don’t take his life.
Again we prayed, day and night—his life, our home, the land that held us.
Water seeped from the storage‑truck roof, splitting our furniture like old scars.
In the chipped mirror my grandma’s eyes still glowed, my sister’s spirit stood tall—guardians of the night.
The state court sent its ruling to the federal bench.
A judge demanded proof of a lease against our valid contract for deed.
“Justice!” I cried as God’s hand revealed the truth.
Once a family unbroken, wildlife watching—now we stand on shattered stone, pleading for mercy.
Through cracked glass I hear, “Dawn will come to light our way.”
Dragonflies rise with the sun—God’s new battle begins.
In the final hour the sky split over Pool Pond—our red sea—Sixty‑one dragonfly nymphs emerged—“COME OUT, BE SAVED—DON’T FREEZE!”
Saved from a freezing winter, they whisper lessons; their fragile shells burst, the nymphs break free—God’s breath lifts us higher on their wings.
hhh hmmm hmmmm hmmmm ah‑h‑mmmmmm — Lord SAVE us, Lord come quick.
ahhh‑hmmm‑hmmm‑ahh
Who do you cry out to when the world turns untrue?
They took our home, but God gave it back as His creatures rose,
Giving voice to all our woes.
Take up your cross, trust in His hand—cancer in remission, house key in hand, wildlife homes restored,
Truth will shine through all the land.
Lord, you are the keeper of the broken,
The One who gathers shattered pieces
[chorus]
Into a new, unbreakable whole.
Our steps steadied by Your promise;
our hearts beat in Your grace. Amen.
I like this response
“Sister, may the Lord restore what was broken, guard the innocent,
And let the dragonflies of faith rise forevermore in our hearts.”
